Ice cream Harriet, Fun in the sun Challenge

A big thank you to Crafty Sentiments Designs for helping me back into paper crafting.
They were offering a free digi stamp to anyone who emailed them between Tuesday 18th June 2013 and Friday 21st June 2013 but they would like you to enter there challenge.
I took this opportunity as it was a beautiful stamp and now available in there online store.
I do love late night crafting too!

The creation I came up with for there 'Fun in the Sun' Challenge was this bright and cheerful card.
I used some plain yellow coloured card stocked and backed 4 of the beautiful patterned papers from First Editions Blank Canvas 8 by 8 premium card stock 3 of which were glittered. I also used some of the Create and Craft pearlescent cream card stock which was a freebie a while back and printed off my own sentiment.
The dies I used were Spellbinders Scalloped Circles to create a sunny shape to go along with the theme and Spellbinders Plain Ovals for the outline of the sentiment. I tried to incorporate a sunny style sentiment too, which I wrote 'Cheer up Sunshine.'
