Craftroom Makeover

The end of the week and this weekend has been spent, shopping and building my new craft space and I love it! Thank you to my partner for making up all of the flatpacked goodies and the money towards it for my Birthday present. :)
 BEFORE
Before I had three plastic storage units, two shelves, 1 desk.
Because I enjoy many different crafts, not even half of my craft items/products could fit into my craftroom, which really frastrated me.



AFTER
I loved the white and teal look, most of our home decor is teal with brown so I wanted similar throughout. I tried to make the most of my space adding as much storage and handy cupboard spaces as I could, I love the end result and have some more matching, storage, shoe box style, boxes on the way to co-ordinate, I now have a home for all of my goodies in my craftroom and I can enjoy it again!

    Lovely room i want it ,have my grandson staying and it makes it harder for me to get in spare room thinks might take out 4ft bed that i have in there ,wood give me more room xx

    Hi Dannii,I thought your before photo of your craft was the new as it looked brill! Then I saw the after photo and it looks fantastic!!! Loving the teal and white!       Thanks for the compliments on the room, I had to remove the mess from the before photo as not even half of my stuff fitted in the room, very frastrating, it may have been more effective to leave some piles of things in the photo, but I couldn't bare it haha! x

      I have a spare bed in the room too, depending on who stays, there are great storage beds or high sleeps you could have a desk and a bed. Thanks for stopping by and leaving some love x

    I have two craft rooms but everything is in the plastic drawers or plastic boxes. We are moving soon and my hubby has promised to build me a proper craft room with lots of storage. I love the units you have, where did you get them from they r ideal for storage. The room is so lovely now hope your enjoying it xxxAnnxxx

      Hi Ann, thanks for popping by.
      I love the units, they are part of the EXPEDIT series from Ikea, very inexpensive and personal, they come in different sizes and you can choose whether you want draws and cupboards as they are purchased separately in the colour of your choice. There are also plastic drawers and wicker baskets that you can buy that are also made to fit perfectly.
